We typically have a destination in mind when we pull up anchor and head out for the day. Today, however, we decided that we would just sail until we got tired and/or the wind stopped.
We ended up close-hauled for most of the day as we worked our way around Coronation Island and towards the protected inside waters. We saw everything from 6-7 knots from the north, to 20-25 knots from the southeast as the wind funneled around the various points and headlands.
