Northern British Columbia and Alaska are both spectacularly beautiful, and we’ve been able to enjoy them in the summer months, the prime part of the season.
Even though it’s technically summer, it hasn’t always felt like it. Many days have been highs in the upper 50s (~14C) with overcast skies and rain that makes it feel even colder.
Now that we’re a bit further south, the weather is starting to warm up and it actually feels like the summer we’re used to. We’ve broken out the shorts and actually taken the down blanket off the bed – not bad for the beginning of August!
