Halfway!
We’re now one thousand miles from the Galapagos with one thousand miles to go – exactly halfway on this leg of our journey. In combination with being about 1200 miles off the coast of Peru, we are officially in the middle of nowhere.
We covered the first half of the trip in almost exactly one week, so we’re making fairly good time, for a small sailboat that is.
Angie baked a Halfway Cake to celebrate Halfway Day, but we cheated by eating a full piece each instead of only half.
