We do our best to keep these daily updates interesting. And we know that endless descriptions of the wind – its strength, its direction, its changes – are anything but.
But, hey, this is a sailing blog! The wind pretty much determines where we can go, how fast we can get there, and even our mood that particular day. It’s kind of important to us.
So, we can’t help but to announce that we finally found some good sailing conditions today. With 15 to 20 knots of true wind on the port quarter, Madrone is happily speeding us directly towards Chile. Woo hoo!
