The lighter winds that were forecasted showed up, and the result was slow sailing and a very smooth sea state.

While the conditions were not great for sailing quickly, they were great for napping deeply, which is exactly what we did. After almost two weeks of the boat being fully powered up through every wave, it was nice to have gentler conditions.

With some extra rest, the crew is now ready to make it around the bulge of Brazil and to start heading to the northwest instead of the northeast.

All’s well onboard.
