We’re not quite sure why our expectations were la bit ow, but Antigua has definitely exceeded them on all counts. The island is scenic, the people ashore are uniformly friendly and welcoming, and the facilities for boats are excellent.

And there are restaurants! After a 37 day passage (and in advance of another 10-14 days to get back to the east coast of the US), we’ve been eating as few meals onboard as possible. We like to think that we’re supporting the local economy…
