Back in the saddle again. Our course to the east coast of the US is almost directly to the northwest, and that path gave us the twinkling lights of St Kitts, Statia, and Saba to port with the glow of St Barts and St Martin to starboard.
We ended up sailing very close to our path from 10 years ago, when we chartered a sailboat in St Martin and returned it in the BVIs after an overnight sail across Anegada Passage. That boat didn’t even have a GPS on board, and only one paper chart of the area – that was a trusting charter company…
All’s well onboard.
