Our excellent sailing conditions continue – the wind is steady, just to the south of east, at 15-20 knots. It’s strong enough to keep Madrone sailing at around 7 knots, but not so strong that the sea state becomes uncomfortable.

After a day of cloudy skies the sun has returned, and that turns the water the deep, deep shade of blue that seems to be unique to offshore sailing.

Our weather forecast calls for another day or two of these conditions before a front pushes down from the east coast of the US to turn the wind against us. When that happens, we’ll have to figure out which way to head. But until then, we’ll continue to enjoy the conditions we have.

All’s well onboard.
