High pressure over Greenland pushes cold, Arctic air southwards over the UK. The result is colder than normal temperatures, including several days of below-freezing conditions even during the day.
Definitely not ideal weather for living on a boat, but at least our trusty Espar diesel heater gets a good workout. And we have snow!
