It’s always fantastic to have visitors, and it’s even better when those visitors are Mike’s sister and family. Marian, Clive and James live in Bristol, England, and a mid-March trip to the tropics was just what the doctor ordered for seasonal affective disorder.
Hanging out playing cards with the family
After a quick trip to Gecko Car Rental (highly recommended!) to pick up our rental surf truck for the week, we zipped in to Puerto Vallarta to collect the family at the airport, and then headed over the hills to Sayulita on the north side of Punta Mita. We rented a house for the first week of the trip – perched high on the hill at the edge of town, the house sported fantastic views and served as a perfect base for exploring the area.
