Filling in the design

Far be it for the crew of Madrone to argue with tradition….

We found a piece of driftwood outside the cabin, and Angie made the design and sketched it out in pencil.  After Mike carved out the design using the handy battery-powered Dremel tool, Angie filled in the recesses using colored Sharpies.

Hanging the “art” in a place of honor

The result actually looked a lot better than either Mike or Angie expected, and it seemed pretty much in keeping with the other signs in the cabin.
