Settled into the marina, we started to make plans for being in one spot for a few weeks. Since Ko Olina is not really convenient to anything, we decided that we need to have a car. Instead of renting through one of the large car rental agencies, we decided to try Turo. We had a smooth pickup of the car, and we’ve been tootling around Oahu in a Honda Civic.
Now that we have a car, we can expand our radius when looking for restaurants. First stop with our new extended range was Lucky Belly, where we ate the best ramen we’ve ever had. One of the great things about Honolulu is the selection of delicious Asian restaurants, and this place was so good that we’ve already made plans to go back again before leaving Oahu.
With some time to kill before Mike’s flight, we made a stop for shave ice. Then, it was off to the airport for a flight back to the real world…
