On the plane headed to Portland!
It’s been awhile since we’ve had a chance to travel back to the US, so we were very happy to be invited to the wedding of some friends.
Somehow between Puerto Vallarta and Portland the airline lost Angie’s bag…
Located in the beautiful high desert outside Bend, OR, the wedding was a fantastic event. We enjoyed the ceremony, seeing the couple tie the knot, and reconnecting with friends that we hadn’t seen, in most cases, in over a year.

We also took advantage of the trip to Oregon to spend a couple of days visiting our old hometown of Portland.

We checked out our old house (and we still miss the neighborhood), of course sampled some of our favorite restaurants (Tasty and Alder, Grand Central Bakery, and Ox), and visited with friends.
