After more than a year of living in the tropics, we find that we’ve gotten used to warm weather.  So, it’s a bit of a shock to the system to arrive here in southern Chile, where even summer is not particularly warm.

On land away from the wind, the temperature is usually comfortable if the sun is out.  But when we’re sailing the boat, we’re back in our ski gear – multiple layers of fleece, hats, and gloves.
