At 6:30am local time, we dropped the anchor in English Harbour on the island of Antigua. We are very happy to be here.
Madrone is resting comfortably at anchor after carrying us safely up the entire east coast of South America and into the Caribbean. We are thankful to have such a good ocean boat.
We are flying our yellow quarantine flag beneath our (handmade) Antigua courtesy flag, and we’re hopeful that we can start the clearing in process this morning
