One of the things we’ve always wanted to do is to sail into New York Harbor and past the Statue of Liberty.  Sometimes long-term goals like this are a bit underwhelming once they’re actually achieved, but definitely not in this case.

Heading into NYC after passing under the Verrazano Bridge
Obviously happy to be here
Checking out Lady Liberty
After floating around in front of the Statue of Liberty taking in the view we headed to our anchorage just past Ellis Island
The anchorage is a bit rolly from all the passing ferries and boats, but the view of Manhattan made up for it 100%
Afternoon thunderstorms rolled through and made for a dramatic view
A bit later when the sun had gone down and the lights just started to come on
Goodnight Manhattan- time for bed
