Football in the UK (and most of the rest of the world) is what Americans call soccer, and American football is not super popular. But the NFL is working to change that, and part of their effort is hosting at least one game in London each year.

When we stepped out of Wembley tube station we could have been in the US with all the NFL signs and jerseys

This year’s game was conveniently scheduled during our time in London (thanks, NFL), so we took advantage of the opportunity to see the game, and also to check out iconic Wembley Stadium.

There was great turnout for the game and the fans were surprisingly really into it

We were surprised to find only a smattering of Americans at the game – most of the attendees seemed to be either English or from somewhere in Europe.

We own no NFL gear but Mike dug out his Colorado State University Cam the Ram hat in support of the Denver Broncos
