Madrone has made the news in London. An unusual cold snap resulted in a dusting of overnight snow in central London, and as expected the local news was all over it.
What was unexpected was for the news to include a shot of a snow-covered Madrone bobbing gently in her slip at St Katharine Docks. The newscast featured a montage of photos from various sites around the city, and one of them was shot from the top of Marble Quay, an officespace in an old warehouse overlooking the marina.
While it’s remarkable that Madrone made the news, what’s even more amazing is that one of the approximately 5 Londoners that we know saw it and let us know. Thanks, Mark and Barbara!
