Curt, the ultramarathon runner, found the climb up to the overlook in Puerto Vallarta no big deal, even with the heat and humidity

We feel very fortunate to be able to travel by boat, visit new places, meet the locals, and try new food.   But by doing that, one thing we miss is spending time with family and friends.

Enjoying the jungle view behind Puerto Vallarta

So when Angie’s brother, Curt, said he was thinking about coming down to visit us in Puerto Vallarta we were thrilled.  Angie booked an Airbnb with the coldest A/C and Curt and his family flew down for a long weekend.

We spent the weekend eating, relaxing in the A/C, exploring Puerto Vallarta, swimming in the ocean, hiking to an overlook above Puerto Vallarta and catching up with each other.

Fun was had by all. And Angie was especially happy to be able to spend time with her big brother and his kids, Kyla and Niko.
