Noon local time finds Madrone just north of the island of Barbados, about 40 miles offshore. We’re only 260nm from Antigua and sailing steadily to the northwest.
Our path shows us next passing St Lucia, then Martinique, Dominica, and Guadeloupe – all islands, like Barbados, at which we’d likely stop during normal times.
But the fact that we’re not stopping just makes this passage even more like what we’ve taken to calling it – our Epic Journey.
