We dropped anchor at Glebe Neck on the Piankatank River. Despite the crazy names, this is an absolutely beautiful setting. Forest sweeps down the the riverbank, interrupted only by well-kept houses overlooking the water.

As the sun set, the wind completely died and the river turned to mirror glass. It’s been a long time since we’ve been in an anchorage this calm and serene, and we’re enjoying the change.
