It’s been a long while since we’ve seen a live baseball game. Anchored outside Deltaville, VA, we took the opportunity to check out the Deltaville Deltas.

The Deltas play in the NABA, a nationwide amateur league with over 25,000 players! While the quality of play was perhaps a step or two down from the pros, we enjoyed watching the game with about 80 other fans in what is apparently Virginia’s last all-wooden baseball stadium.
And, the Deltas delighted the hometown fans by beating the Richmond Smokies 13 – 7, running their record to 6 – 0 so far this year. Go Deltas!
